The Moncton Magic defeated the St John Riptide Tuesday night at Crandall University, marking the end of the pre-season. The Magic came out on top, scoring 114 points and holding the St John Riptide to 103. Moncton was led by long time NBL top performer Anthony Anderson who dropped 25 points in just 31 minutes. Terry Thomas, Chad Frazier, and Corey Allmond came out huge for the Magic with 16, 12 and 12 points respectively. Tim Mitchell, solid as ever, grabbed 8 rebounds and 14 points. John Murry took the top spot for St John, hitting three from the arc totaling 18 points.
Both the Magic and its fans are looking forward to their NBL home opener vs. Saint John's Edge on November 22nd at 7:00pm at the Moncton Coliseum.
