Magic Defeat CB Highlanders in Second Home Game

(Moncton, NB: November 26, 2017)

Moncton Magic hosted the Cape Breton Highlanders Sunday 2:00pm at the Moncton Coliseum.

Moncton beat Cape Breton 112-94 giving them back-to-back home wins; the first being their Saturday game where they dominated Charlottetown 115-83.

The game high scorer was Jeremy Williams who totaled 29 points along with eight rebounds.

Terry Thomas teased the fans with a near triple-double going 8-9-17!

 Anthony Anderson named game MVP for his seven assists and 24 points. 

Starting point guard Al Stewart represented tonight with six rebounds, five assists, 13 points and four steals. This shouldn't come as a huge surprise; Al is the league leader in steals.

Lindsay Hunter played a great game for the Highlanders, grabbing a double-double with 10 rebounds and 21 points.

Teamwork was at season high Sunday; Moncton had 26 assists over Cape Breton's 16. Player usage was a huge factor in this win; the Magic had six players in double digits.

The Magic will remain at home to play the Cape Breton Highlanders again at the Coliseum Thursday November 30th at 7:00pm.
