Atlantic Canadian Gentrey Thomas helps Magic maintain undefeated home record, break franchise record

The Moncton Magic hosted the Island Storm for the first time this season Friday night at the Avenir Centre. The Magic pick up another home win after 2 road losses, maintaining the number 1 seed with an 11-2 record. Through remaining undefeated infront of home fans, the Magic break another franchise record with 7 consecutive home wins.

Despite the recent loss of 2 key players, the Magic's starting line-up combined for 105 points, outscoring the Islands total 102 points. Player of the game Gentrey Thomas posted a double double with 22 points and 12 rebounds, along with 8 assists and 4 steals. Wayne McCullough, also had a double double with 23 points, and 10 rebounds. Other major contributing factors on the Magic side were Corey Allmond and Billy White adding 31 and 20 points respectively.

The Island Storm's Sampson Carter led the game with 33 points. The Storm will return home to prepare for their next game as The Magic will join them in Charlottetown for a New Years Eve matchup.
